You Are 57% American

Most times you are proud to be an American.
Though sometimes the good ole US of A makes you cringe
Still, you know there's no place better suited to be your home.
You love your freedom and no one's going to take it away from you!

Hey...anyone want to go see Black Eyed Peas with me on Monday, May 15th (7:00PM) at the Everett Events Center? Tickets are about $45.00 including surcharge (maybe up to $50.00) for general admission. Floor seats are in the hundreds but I don't think so.

The opening act is the Pussycat Dolls...which isn't so bad since the gals are scantily clad and their music is pretty poppy-catchy. Don't Cha? I want to go see a concert for the first time and since I missed on some other great names (Weezer twice, the Killers, all other rap concerts, too young to see Darude, etc), I think Black Eyed Peas would be fun. Also, I really like their music. Pump It...Louder!

Tell me soon because I want to purchase tickets. And no excuses about having school the next day. I do...and we're in college. And it's not like we're going to be out that late.

Jan. 19th, 2006 @ 10:48 pm Image Problem
So I found out today that I have an image problem. What do I come off as? Please, please, comment and tell me. And I'll follow up with what I found from a girl friend. Am I hot, cocky, preppy, nerdy, racist, all of the above, etc.? Any and all is welcome.

Oh, and based on what you say, what kind of lifestyle do you envision I would have if you didn't know me? For example, could you tell the type of car if I was a gangster?

So it's my Mom's 50th Birthday today. I just came back from 'Daniel's Broiler' on Lake Union. Most expensive restaurant I've been to- the four of us (my family) was $80/per person. Service was pretty good and I liked dressing up and feeling special. There were also some thugs (literally, thug attire) which is kind of degrading, but also a Bentley and some businessmen which made me think of my life after college in an Accounting firm (likely).

Dec. 24th, 2005 @ 03:33 am New Phone

So I got a new phone yesterday...and a new plan. I renewed my contract with Sprint for the family plan and added my sister. We now have 800 shared minutes (was 1000 but we didn't use them all), 7PM weeknight minutes, Sprint to Sprint, Free nationwide long distance, free roaming, my sister and i each have 500 text messages, and i have internet and a few tv channels + sirius satelite music. yes that's right, i am using sprint's new highspeed network (evo or something like that) with speeds from 400-700kbs. pretty good for a phone. i also get a few channels of tv. and we keep our corporate discount (25% off baby!!).

my new phone:

So in picture one, it's some hot asian chick and the korean version of my phone. korean version in all the pics actually. the third pic is a comparison against the motorolla razr. i got the new samsung mm-a900. basically it's like the razr, but better. it is slightly longer and heavier (but slightly thinner i think), has a 1.3 megapixel camera/camcorder, sprint tv, compatible with the new sprint internet, mp3 player, bluetooth, display that supports 262,000 colors, 500 contact phone book, etc. it's a nice phone- and i had to pay for it (literally). oh well, good x-mas present i suppose...although i have spent a lot of money on "x-mas" presents: mp3 player, phone, roth ira, clothes, clothes, more clothes, etc.

hopefully the phone will last. now that i see this one (below), perhaps i should have waited:

I saw Harry Potter tonight. Good movie actually. For some young actresses, I'll say, that there are some good looking ones.

Today was unproductive. Surfed the net the whole day, pretty much- and saw harry potter. other than that, didn't get anything done. found out that even if i want to, i can't sit for the CPA exam until i have my bachelor's degree--even though clark nuber sent me material to take a review course. oh well. i did some practice questions for the cpa exam- they didn't seem hard (the multiple choice) but i didn't do so well so yeah...and then there's a written part (sorta) and that's time-consuming. oh well. i also did more research on clark nuber- as in their awards, past press releases, and such. good firm. i'm really torn between clark nuber and all that it has to offer (e.g. small-firm, huge emphasis on technology, numerous awards, possible salary + benefits, etc.) but i'm also thinking that a BIG 4 firm might be good as well-mainly because if i want to become a CFO (jokingly), or at least move into the private field, it looks best to have big 4 experience (they're national/international firms). i'll have to weigh my options after the summer.

tomorrow i might get a new phone. about time since my current one sucks. i am debating between two phones (both very expensive...arg). one is the "blade"- which is like the samsung verison of the 'razor.' it has a 1.3 megapixel camera, video, thin, black, etc. The other one is also by samsung but $50 more and is slightly bigger than my current phone. but it has expansion memory, better camera/camcorder (2 megapixels!!!), etc. I'll have to check it out tomorrow i suppose- that is, if i actually get one. or i could go the cheap way and get a free one which might be great because i don't really have $250-$300 to spend.

tomorrow night i'm going to hang out with diane. should be fun. then on friday, going to go shopping with my sister and dad probably. possibly suit shopping; since i need one. actually, i determined that i need to buy a suit or two and it's going to be over $1K for all of the stuff i need. but i guess it's an "investment" and i need to 'dress to impress.' i'm going to check out some places- nordies, nordie rack, brooks brothers, macy's, men's wherehouse, k & G, etc.

i am still waiting for one classes' grades: International Business 300. Both my professor and teacher are not cool yo. I had the professor before for marketing and i should have learned my lesson the first time- in the marketing class i took from him during my first quarter, i got my lowest grade at UW- i think he gave me like 40% participation. what a loser. but his class was probably easier than the other IBUS's class- although the night class would have been good too. and my TA was so uninformed.

Some people know my grades already- and if you do, please don't tell anyone else until i do. i would rather wait til i know all of the news before telling everyone i suppose. perhaps tomorrow...er later today (looking at the time).
